Clean Slate – 21 Jump Street

Welcome back to Clean Slate, PoP!’s safe haven where all things are given a second chance. Jumping back into the swing of things, Episode 3 of Clean Slate brings us the movie that inspired and was the driving force behind the Clean Slate series. From the moment I saw the trailer, I wanted to hate this movie based solely on the fact that it was in no way anything that resembled the original show that I loved watching during my journey out of the 80′s. Using my niece as an excuse to see it, within the first 10 minutes of the movie, I quickly came to the realization that I would end up loving this movie. So, sit back, and see why the big screen adaptation of 21 Jump Street deserves a second chance on Blu-ray.

another awesome clean slate video my friend. only thing i would have to say is i would have let people know that Jonah Hill actually wrote the movie and it took him 5 years to do it. Also richard Grieco not in movie in an interview he said he wasnt asked to be in the first one ,but he said there is a possibility for an appearance in the second, which Jonah hill is not writing the sequel but will star in. Over all though you were once again spot on. Keep it up

IMDB lists Grieco as being in it. I think his part was cut and Grieco said that to save face. Don’t know how I feel about Hill not being part of the writing team for the sequel…

There are a ton of awesome articles and features on PoP!, but nothing beats anything where Jose is in front of the camera. It’s always gold!

I’m really looking forward to watching 21 Jump Street. I think it looks hilarious, and there are a bunch of people that I like in the movie.

That you for the kind words, sir. I wanted to keep most of the Clean Slates to under 6 minutes, but I had so much good to say about this movie…. I was pushing almost 10 minutes. Let me know when you see it!

Keep watching and I’ll keep pumping them out, for real this time.

Amen Jose! Very good clean slate. I was excited for this movie from the get go. (Not expecting the tv show) I was very pleased with it! I am glad that you ended up liking it. Yet again dear Sir you hit the nail on the head!

  4. Gotta see it. Period.

  5. Ben Gilbert says:

Nicely done, sir. I gotta admit, I unfairly dismissed 21 Jump Street based on the premise alone and the presence of Channing Tatum, but everything I’ve seen, heard, and read about it makes me want to see it.

And yes, Django Unchained is going to be AMAZING.

  6. JuggaloJohn says:

ok, i’ll watch it. and you guys are killing me with the timing on the jokes.

the spider-man end joke is Gold. had me almost in tears.
