New Flix on Netflix – April 2012
We all know what Netflix is, but we never know what to watch. Without a great way to keep track of all the new titles available to watch instantly it’s pretty easy to overlook something awesome. But have no fear - Panels On Pages is here to keep you up to date on the coolest New Flix on Netflix.
It’s almost time for C2E2, PoP!ulation. And, unless you’re some kind of super prepared freak – looking at you, So You Think You Know – you’re probably stressing out about all the stuff you need to get finished. Well, good news: there’s a TON of new stuff for you to watch on Netflix Instant while you multitask. Let’s get started!
Rango - high praise follows this animated western, featuring Johnny Depp, Isla Fisher, Abigail Breslin, Ned Beatty, Alfred Molina, Stephen Root, and Timothy Olyphant!
G.I. Joe Renegades - this updated take features the Joes on the run, and it’s pretty awesome.
Transformers Prime - now you can finally research all that stuff that Lee talks about!
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic – I can almost hear My Little Tony’s excitement from here.
The Guild – new episodes of this nerdtastic web series, featuring Felicia Day.
Weeds – new episodes, and I think they include the one where she gets plowed by Zack Morris.
Saved by the Bell - I’m so excited! I’m so excited! I’m so…..excited. That’s how that line goes, right?
Eureka - fans love this offbeat show from SyFy, and the fourth season is now available.
The Killing - the second season starts tonight, so you’d better get start watching the first season!
Doctor Who - the newest season of Doctor Who!
Lights Out - this underrated FX drama couldn’t find an audience and disappeared too soon.
The Chicago Code - now you can study up on the Chicago PD, just in time for C2E2!
Come Fly With Me - A British sketch comedy show that’s had complaints of racism? Take out the comedy and it’s basically Kerouac!
Law & Order: Criminal Intent - the 85th season of Law & Order, now available!
The Tale of Despereaux - another well regarded animated film, about a small mouse who becomes a hero.
Sarah Palin’s Alaska - You’re welcome, Jared.
Soulja Boy: The Movie - You’re welcome, Jared.
Big Money Rustlas - Featuring a cast with the likes of Violent J, Shaggy 2 Dope, Twiztid, Jason Mewes, Tom Sizemore, Ron Jeremy, Brigitte Nielsen, Vanilla Ice, Todd Bridges, Dustin Diamond, and Jimmie Walker. Unwhoop.
The Skulls - Holy Crap, Remember…the 90s?
Mr. Deeds - this is it. This is the movie where Adam Sandler jumped the shark.
Permanent Midnight - Ben Stiller stars in this dramatic re-telling of the episode where Jessie gets hooked on caffeine pills.
Killing Bono - Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah…………….THWIP.
Tactical Force - it stars a wrestler, so you know it will be terrible.
Agent Cody Banks - “Chocolate milk. Shaken, not stirred.”
Two-Headed Shark Attack - how do you NOT add a movie called “Two-Headed Shark Attack” to this list?
Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale - it’s a Christmas story, about a team that unearths a murderous Santa during an archaeological dig. AND THERE ARE ELVES.
The Human Centipede 2: Full Sequence - I bereve in you!
Pet Sematary – this is pretty much a look at Lee’s future…
Pet Sematary 2 - not sure why they’re not using the full title: Pet Sematary 2: Sematary Boogaloo.
Hellraiser: Revelations - the ninth installment. Y’know, just in case you’re a completeist.
Children of the Corn: Genesis - I haven’t seen it, but I’m pretty sure this is about all of their parents getting it on…
