#48. Blue Beetle: It’s not easy being Jaime Reyes. He has to deal with high school, family and all the drama that comes with being a teenager. Also, he’s linked to a powerful scarab created by an alien race who seek to subjugate planets – or annihilate them. It’s up to one teen hero to turn this instrument of destruction into a force for good in BLUE BEETLE #1, written by Tony Bedard (GREEN LANTERN CORPS) and illustrated by Ig Guara (FLASHPOINT: GRODD OF WAR) and Ruy Jose.
Exploiting a back-door in DC servers, images of some of tomorrows announcements have been revealed, including a Superman book drawn by George Perez, Supergirl and Superboy. Including Action Comics, that accounts for the final four titles. Gail Simone confirmed on Twitter today that the Secret Six title is coming to an end and that the third series she’s working on will be a miniseries and not included in the “New #1′s” announcements, although that does mean that there will be some minis launched along with the 52 on-goings.
DC’s “The Source” Blog has updated with the four Superman family titles that will round out DC’s 52 all new ongoing series debuting in September. Also, in an email to retailers DC revealed ship dates for all titles as well as fuller solicits for some titles. Updated solicitation information (for those titles that have it) are now listed in italics.

#51. Supergirl: Supergirl’s got the unpredictable behavior of a teenager, the same powers as Superman and none of his affection for the people of Earth. Writers Michael Green and Mike Johnson (Smallville, SUPERMAN/BATMAN) will team up with artist Mahmud Asrar to give a new take on the teenager from Krypton in SUPERGIRL #1. Meet Supergirl.
