PoP! was represented to the fullest, and the people we met were so awesome and willing to take pictures and let us interview them on video. I’m not giving away all the juicy pics just yet; you need to check back for those.
Let’s just say, PoP! now has Celebrity fans.
Lastly, I must mention, for a Geek Convention, there were plenty of lovely ladies at FX, as seen above. If I don’t come home with a phone number or at least an email address by Sunday, I will consider myself a colossal failure.
We had a blast, and I have to thank my roomie Jose for helping out big time. He shot the video, and really helped me get over some of my jitters when approaching people.

Day 2 Updates!
Passed out plenty of “PoP!” Rocks today, and got a LOT of pics and video.
Day 3 Updates!
Thanks again to my roomie Jose for hustling and helping with the camera and keeping me motivated, and to Brine for helping out with PoP! Rocks yesterday, and to my best friends Justin and Laura for helping with the PoP! sign and PoP! Rocks and pictures and etc. It was a great weekend, and I couldn’t have done it without my “team.”

Also, dude - frickin awesome. This is chock full of win.
Those are formatted as THUMBS…and yes…even when not, if the size isn’t too big, you can fit two pics on one line. Just make sure in the picture settings, when justifying, you select “none”, and then justify when editing the post.
Despite my initial jitters, it’s amazing how easy it is to approach the ladies when holding a mic and trailed by a camera man.

Looks like a damn good show.
If you look closely at the Day 3 pics Mikey, you may or may not be able to identify Thor Artist Olivier Coipel and Marvel Zombies Cover Artist Arthur Suydam.
Besides those awesome dudes, we’ve got pics and video with at least 5 of the Celebrity Guests.
You wouldn’t believe how much a camera, well made sign and press passes validates your operation. By day three, people were pulling us aside wanting to be interviewed, and I think we left at least one celeb feeling snubbed… But I don’t want to give away too much before Jason puts it all together.
It was a good time had by all and I hope to be more involved next time. Thanks for inviting me!
