KNEEL BEFORE…Viggo? LotR star rumored for Superman Reboot
Heat Vision reports that Aragorn, Son of Arathorn, Lord of the Rings star Viggo Mortensen, is a “person of interest” for Superman reboot producer Christopher Nolan and director Zack Snyder to fill the Phantom Zone prison of General Zod, famously portrayed in the original Richard Donner franchise by Terence Stamp.
Mortensen is currently in negotiations for Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman, which could put a damper on the Viggo as Zod speculation. However, considering the high-profile of the Superman project, which, next to The Dark Knight Rises, is one of the most sought-after projects in Hollywood, Mortensen could very well be convinced to pull on a sweet Kryptonian jumpsuit.

This makes me excited. Vigo always seems to be an under the radar actor. You always forget about him till someone mentions his name and its “oh yeah he was in …. and he did great.” So bring on more superman news
This seems PERFECT to me.
Sounds good to me.
Thumbs up
Gee . . . why put in new super villains for Superman to fight? Let’s just go with the tired 2 or 3 that seem to be featured in every Superman movie. Can’t figure out how to do a good Parasite? No twisted way to present Toyman? Braniac? Silver Banshee? If Smallville could do a somewhat okay small screen version of these villains, why can’t big screen directors figure out how to REALLY make these various characters really menacing and an actual threat to Superman? *sigh!* I’m already bored with this latest stab at Superman.
Ehhhhhh Zod… >.<
But I love Viggo! So more eye candy for me!
As long as Superman punches someone this time it’ll already be an improvement over the last one.
